Position Description
Office Location: New Berlin, WI

Responsible for assigned electrical engineering and programming of projects
Education: Required: 4 Year EE or EET degree
Experience:
5 years prior experience in automation and electrical design - Prior experience in PLC programming in Allen Bradley and Siemens required
2 years experience in .Net Technologies- VB.Net, C#.Net and Visual Basic 6.0, VBA, moving data back and forth from SQL server to PLC
2 years experience in project management
Skill, knowledge and abilities:
Knowledge or experience in PLC programming( AB, Siemens), HMI programming (Factory Talk View SE & ME, WinCC Flex), Drafting software (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical)
Knowledge and experience in data logging with SQL server involving report generation, remote viewing, and sending of reports
Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational skills, problem solving and trouble shooting skills required. Possess a sense of urgency & sensitivity to both internal & external customer problems and concerns. Proficiency in a Windows environment

Responsible for assigned electrical engineering and programming of projects
- Work with Engineering department to schedule drawing creation and completion
- Work with project coordinator to distribute programs, drawings to team center clients and customers
- Coordinate review of all electrical drawings with Senior Electrical Engineer
- Approve all changes in electrical engineering scope in regards to functional changes, work with engineering/product manager on any scope changes in projects, distribute all revision programs, drawings and manuals to project coordinator
- Work with Engineering department to schedule software creation and completion by due date
- Review all software for errors and consistency
- Review project related paperwork
- Ensure QC and testing are completed prior to releasing project for shipment
- Review all project related paperwork for accuracy prior to releasing project for shipment, (sales orders, work tickets, bill of materials)
- Coordinate purchasing of electrical BOM’s with purchasing
- Review overall electrical project budget with Project Manager to ensure we are meeting budgets
- Install and debug
- Review commissioning and installation reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Participate in final stages of commissioning process to close project
- Work with field service to coordinate commissioning as well as ongoing maintenance issues
- Field Work: 50% on average travel is required. Travel is both national and international.
