Position:         Intramural Coordinator
                      Administrative Specialist
 
Responsibilities: Organize, plan and coordinate various aspects of the intramural program including leagues, tournaments, special events and officials’ training. Work independently with limited supervision and is expected to work some weeknights. Supervise special events, league management and student staff. Develop a departmental master plan for participation in University promotional events including but not limited to New Freshman Orientation, Panther Fest, Family Weekend and other programs.

Appointment/Salary: The minimum salary is $35,358 plus a competitive benefit package. This is a 12-month full-time appointment designated as fixed-term renewable non-teaching academic staff.  The anticipated start date will be in November 2010. 

Qualifications: Applicant required to have a bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport management or related field. Masters degree preferred or working towards degree. Two years supervisory experience in intramurals sports at the college level. CPR/AED certification preferred. Knowledge of software systems for program registration, league schedules and web site information.
