Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator in our Kennesaw, GA, Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, Raleigh, NC, Houston, TX or Austin, TX office. The position will support our talented environmental practitioners with developing compliant, comprehensive, and compelling submittals (proposals and opportunity-specific statements of qualifications (SOQs). Utilizing superb writing and organizational skills, the role will participate in the Go/No-Go process; manage, schedule, edit, and produce submittals and related sales-support materials; evaluate selection criteria; and develop appropriate response strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Coordinate the development of new material and updates to existing material, with both marketing teams and practitioners;
  • Create first draft/template of news announcements for internal and external posting, as directed;
  • Coordinate with practitioners to maintain master resumes, project descriptions, and imagery;
  • Maintain and manage content library, including prior proposals, boilerplates, and visuals;
  • Assist with content for online presence, including social media, website, and email;
  • Revise & circulate for comment news announcements for internal and external posting;
  • Prepare proposal/SOQ pursuit memo (guide to preparing the deliverable);
  • Assist with the preparation and/or assembly of written and visual information for client presentations;
  • Assist in maintaining scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements;
  • Help to produce SOQs/proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction;
  • Handle production and confirm needed resources to ensure on-time delivery of SOQs/proposals;
  • Gather content from team and consultants as needed; maintain content libraries / winning examples-templates;
  • Organize and develop task lists from pre-submittal meeting recordings and notes;
  • As directed, monitor sources of industry-related market information; distribute potential leads to proposal and marketing teams;
  • Review, cull and maintain select sources of industry-related market information that supports a proposal pursuit;
  • Gather research data related to clients; competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience; and
  • Assist in maintaining systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree, an Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college and 2 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience in a marketing professional services environment for engineering, architecture, commercial construction or legal firm. (required)
  • Demonstrated writing skills, including the ability to think critically and analytically about the purpose of the document and how the content might be improved. (required)
  • Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. (required)
  • Windows proficiency including, MS Professional (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and typing ability. (required)
  • Familiarity with Illustrator and some graphic design experience. (preferred)
  • Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions. (required)
  • Technical suite skills +: MS Office (including MS Project familiarity), Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workflow. (required)
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to perform effectively under tight deadlines. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
