Growing CNC job shop is hiring! This is a direct hire opportunity. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all technical phases of new and existing processes. This includes developing the initial customer file and documentation and developing manufacturing processes accordingly. The ideal candidate has an understanding of CNC machining and involvement on the shop floor.
DUTIES OF THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEER INCLUDE:
Creation of routings
Capacity planning
Determine optimal subcontract operations
Develop procedure sheets, bill of documents and process sketches
Maintain customer drawings and documentation
Analyze work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
Confer with operators and equipment vendors to make improvements
Calculate production, labor, and material costs
Improve production rates while maintaining safety standards
Advise on cause and corrective actions
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
Manufacturing related Engineering Degree is preferred with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment or the equivalent years experience
High School Diploma is acceptable with 5+ years of related CNC machining experience with a progression of responsibilities and 2-3 years of the experience should be in Engineering Administration and Process Improvement.
