Final Assembly Group Lead

Job Purpose:

Oversees a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area. May assist in the transition of new products into manufacturing. Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignments. Clears minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repair as trained by a technician, engineer or supervisor. Assists operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations. Spot checks product to ensure quality levels are maintained.

Nature of Duties:

  • To direct; coordinate and schedule the manufacturing process in thearea.
  • Monitor and control production goals and efficiencies!
  • Work closely with Management and Scheduling Department
  • Maintain exceptional qualitystandards.
  • Will discuss other responsibilities atinterview.

Requirements and skills needed for the job:

  • Previous leadership skills preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to direct and trainemployees.
  • Responsible, organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to motivateothers.
  • Problem solvingability.
  • Excellent attendance-must be able to work allovertime.
  • 4-6 years of related experience preferred.
  • High School or GED
  • These are the primary responsibilities of the position - however, the qualified applicant may be asked to perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor for production necessity.
