We are seeking an authentic, joyful,growth-mindedOccupational Therapist to join our growing team in Deerfield, IL!
Daily Responsibilities Include:
Uponintake;review each child's assessmentsand other relateddocumentationprovidedto determine the child's current needs.
Provide an initial Occupational Therapy evaluation for each child, as needed, in consultation with the Senior OT Clinician.
Collaborate with the clinical teamto create atreatment plan for each child,includingidentifying specific occupational therapy relatedgoals.
Providedirect occupational therapy servicesto autistic children utilizingadevelopmentalapproach to work towards each child's goals and to strengthen developmental foundations.
Monitor each child's progresson an ongoing basis. Record session notes in the child's Electronic Health Record and communicate progressto other members of the team, including the parents.
Participate in team meetingsand ongoing supervision.
Provideongoingmentoring and support to new OTs as they join the team.
Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapist License
Strong desire to learn the Developmental Model through training,observationand reflection
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum
Ability to work seamlessly and respectfully on a trans-disciplinary team
Flexible schedule
License/Certification:
Active Occupational Therapy - Illinois License
Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

This role would start as part-time with the opportunity to move to full-time as soon as the caseload builds to that level.
